Overview

Liverpool has long been recognized for its deep musical roots, and recently, house music has echoed through the city streets. Pioneers like Camelphat and Yousef have paved the way, and now the focus shifts to SOSA, Liverpool’s emerging house music talent.

SOSA is known for his hypnotic grooves and has spent considerable time refining his minimal-tech production style. Industry leaders such as The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, PAWSA, and Jamie Jones have supported his tracks, with releases spanning prestigious labels like Cuttin Headz, Hottrax, COCO, Solid Grooves RAW, Black Book Records, Moxy Music, Repopulate Mars, Sola, Ultra, Hot Creations, and Ministry of Sound.

2022 was a milestone year for SOSA, starting with his remix of Chris Lake & NPC’s "A Drug From God," followed by debuts on Catch & Release, and a collaborative EP with Prok | Fitch on Hot Creations. He also released tracks "No Bueno" and "NOVELA" on his COCO label, and ended the year with a significant remix of Chris Lorenzo & Cobrah's "Mami." With several anticipated releases lined up for 2023, SOSA is quickly becoming a recognized figure in the minimal tech scene.

SOSA also maintains a full touring schedule, with appearances at major venues and festivals worldwide. His performances at leading UK venues like Blackstone Street Warehouse, Warehouse Project, and Printworks have reinforced his status in the house music scene.

His remarkable show at Creamfields' new Runway stage was a notable achievement. Beyond the UK, SOSA has had a successful season in Ibiza and has gained popularity in the Netherlands and Italy. In 2022, he undertook his first tour in the USA with the 9-date Dance Lapse tour. Returning to Liverpool, his latest COCO event at the Invisible Wind Factory sold out, featuring performances by Waff and Lyndsey Matthews.
